A cable came off my garage door pulley rendering the door inoperable, so I contacted these guys because of all their 5 star reviews. They charge $119.95 for an inspection visit, which was fine since they’re highly rated. They were courteous and on time. After the inspection they provided 3 repair options, ranging from $1,118.65 to $1,882.99. I almost fell off my chair, I was expecting a cable change to cost a couple hundred bucks. They said the job required changing both torsion springs, and I thought that was odd since my springs were only 2 years old. Anyway, I decided to not hire them. The guy said the service call was $140. To his credit, when I insisted I was told the visit costs $119.95, he adjusted the fee. I did get both cables changed by another outfit for $200. Things appear to be working OK. It could be Precision was right and I should have spent $1,118; It’s too early to tell. I just believe one should get a couple opinions, and be careful of what may seem like “upselling.”

The springs on my garage door snapped, and the door came violently crashing down on a Saturday morning. The Technician came out on time and inspected the door, he pointed out several places of wear and tear and explained what needed to be replaced along with the broken lift spring. Prepared 3 quotes based on options and, after I selected one, installed the necessary lift hardware in a timely and professional manner.
