I love this company, this is the second time I’ve called on them with garage door issues (2 totally different issues) I have or should we say a not “good quality “garage door, I won’t mention the brand, maybe you can guess!! As things break or come unhinged, Precision has come to my rescue, little by little they’re bringing it “up to par and workable for the future! This time around I had Javy Chavez, very knowledgeable and honest, did the repair with precision and now my door is purring like a kitten and get this….it opens and closes now !!! He did have concerns they will need to be addressed in the future but for now, we’re good… thanks so much for being a reputable company with outstanding employees

Precision installed new garage door springs last year with a 5 year warranty. Instead of callibrated factory springs, Precision used retrofit springs that they had on their truck. 16 months after installation, the garage door failed. The springs had 'unsprung'. 3 other licensed door vendors were called out and agreed that the cause of the failure was the inappropriate springs used by Precision. They created an excess of 75lbs unsupported door weight, causing the motor to burn out. I called and asked Precision to honor their warranty. Precision adjusted the door to rebalance it, but said the broken motor was my responsibility and replacement would be charged at approx. $1700. I can't believe Precision thinks it's acceptable to install springs that would lose tension and fail in a year. I called other garage door vendors and no one else used 'retrofit' springs, exactly for this reason. Buyer beware.
