Sorry, but I was completely dissatisfied with your company and it's intentional strategy to get a commitment over the phone to come out for $129, then try to upsell products and services beyond what is needed. It's obvious you incentivize your techs to sell more products & services once they are onsite. I was told over the phone you charge a service fee of $129 to come out and give an estimate which I was a little leery of doing. I asked what the charge would be for changing out a spring and was quoted $159 (I think) over the phone, so in my mind, I was anticipating your total cost to be roughly $300 which is in line with what I was thinking the cost would be, so I okayed you to come out. The technician "Salesman" arrived and inspected the door then stammered around a while putting together the quote. To my surprise, he included 2 springs, new wheels, a lubrication package & some other things that weren't needed in my opinion. My garage door is a small single car garage with only 1 spring. He told me he didn't have the correct single spring on his truck and that's why he needed to include 2 in the quote. After I pushed back on him, later in the conversation, he said he could install 1 spring (today) and leave out the wheels but he wouldn't be able to warranty the work because my door absolutely required everything in his quote. After that I didn't trust a word he said. The quote he gave me was $749. I told him his price was over twice what it should be. His response to me was, "People pay our prices all the time." I told him "we are done here." I had the work done today by Escondido Overhead Doors (GREAT EXPERIENCE!). I never told them about our interaction over the weekend, nor asked them for a price upfront. They sent their guys out, they looked at my door and said the cost would be $340 (exactly what I was thinking it would cost). No mention of any of the crap your guy was trying to convince me I needed. Please stop taking advantage of uninformed people and consider rethinking your approach to business. Honesty & integrity will pay dividends over the years!

Benjamin and Mario did a great job of installing a new motor, sensors, springs, and an outside keypad to my garage door. They were quick, thorough and very nice to deal with. Always happy with the service from Precision Door. James arrive on time and replaced the dead battery backup in minutes. No more incessant beeping and the door works like a charm. The only downside is that these batteries only last a couple of years before needing replacement.
