Okay everybody; this is my story in my own words. I am not employed by any Ad Agency, I don’t know anybody at Precision Garage door, nor do I work for them. I went out to open our garage door and nothing happened. Neither remote nor the wall switch would open the door. I did the usual and checked the safety sensors, power to the plug, tripped breakers etc., still nothing. I called Precision Garage Door of San Diego at 9:30 AM and had a new garage door opener and fully functioning garage door by 1:00 PM. Out Service Technician, Rick J arrived at our front door by 11:30 AM and was gone by 1:00 PM. Rick was very friendly, professional and provided us with 5 options for fixing our door, leaving the work area spotless. So, next time you see the TV commercial believe it!

The tension spring snapped in half. Repair techs were onsite within two hours. Replaced the spring, both wheel bearings and rollers. Realigned both tension wires and gave my a lifetime warranty. Great communication skills.

My previous garage door opener wasn't working. I called Precision. They responded quickly and a technician was on site very quickly. He inspected my system and told me it was 25 years old. He replaced my old Genie with a new Lift Master. All is well in my garage. My thanks to Precision and the tech Mr. Chavez. The entire job was very professional. I would definitly call Precision if I need help again.

It took a while for me to decide which company to go with to replace my 28 year old garage door openers, as that is not an inexpensive job. I decided to go with Precision because they gave me the best price, guaranteed their service and products and they have terrific customer service. While I had a couple of issues after the installation, they were quick to respond and rectify any and all questions, concerns and issues. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and if I need doors or service in the future, they will be the folks I call. Thank you.

I had a spring break on a double roll-up door, I called precision made an appointment, very easy. Technician showed up on time as promised. Quickly gave me 3 options, option 1 fix broken spring at way over a reasonable price, Option 2 replace spring and rollers again way over priced and finally, option 3 a complete “overhaul”, again overpriced. Boy what do I do now? A Brand new car in the garage, drove straight home from dealership, parked in the garage and “bang” a spring breaks. Door is a heavy roll up and I am 78 years young, pretty handy but Google warns you that springs can give you a good ass kicking if you are not careful. So I think I can say no, pay Precision for a service call and call the next guy. Probably get the say overpriced treatment. So I bite the bullet, negotiate a little, and I mean a little and “overall” the door and pay the way overpriced bill. End result door is fixed, runs smooth as butter and quiet. Great improvement but way overpriced. Did I mention that Precision door is way overpriced? Good luck!
