The quoted price from the person at Percision over the phone on Sunday to replacement the garage door spring was $119-$179 depending on the size. This included instalation plus I had a coupon for a free service call. Well, when the service tech got here the bad news started. He told me my coupon was not good because it was for a Sunday even though I was given the quote on Sunday and the scheduler told me it was good. She even said she would make a note that we had a valid coupon. Then he told us they were all out of the "standard spring" so he up-sold us to the "deluxe" spring for more money plus come to find out the deluxe spring did not come with a bearing but he would put one on for $80 more! So by the time he was done with the "$119-$179" repair job the bill was $350! This not the way to treat your senior citizen customers!

i would like to say that your service tech was right on time. he took the time to give me a choice of repair options , that was good. the only problem was the estimates he gave me were why out of the ball park that i was given over the phone. the young lady on the phone said that a charge of $170.00 per spring would be the charge for the basic broken spring. the lowest estimate that dustin gave me was $370.00 per spring. that was too far above the quote on the phone. so thank you very much. bill and janet mcneal
