Lifetime Limited Warranty
What is covered?
Installation of New Garage Doors
For installation of a new garage door, this warranty covers defects in workmanship, for labor furnished by the Precision Garage Door Service Franchisee as a part of installing the new garage door for one (1) year from the date of installation. The garage door manufacturer provides its own separate warranty to you for the door and its parts. This warranty does NOT cover the door or its parts. The Precision Garage Door Service Franchisee will correct any defective workmanship and, if a part is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, he will repair or replace that defective part, at no charge for labor for up to one (1) year from the date of installation.
For a complete overhaul repair to an existing garage door, this warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, including installation, for new and rebuilt parts furnished by the Precision Garage Door Service Franchisee as a part of the repair. The Precision Garage Door Service Franchisee will repair, or if repair is not possible, he will replace any defective part or workmanship at no charge for materials.
How Long Coverage Lasts
This warranty begins when repairs or any installation are complete. This warranty cannot be transferred. For repairs to an existing garage door, the warranty continues for as long as the original customer owns the repaired garage door. For a new garage door installation and a complete overhaul repair, the labor warranty is for one (1) year from the date of installation or repair. The warranty terminates if the original customer sells or no longer owns the repaired or new garage door.
Partial Service Warranty. If this option is selected, the terms are consistent with the terms of the Limited Warranty, but lasting only for a 90-day period beginning on the date of service completion.
What Is Not Covered?
If anyone other than the authorized Precision Garage Door Service Franchisee who performed the original service works on any new or repaired part covered by this warranty, then that part and the labor to repair or replace that part is no longer covered under this warranty. For new garage door installations, see the manufacturer’s warranty for what is not covered under its warranty.
This warranty does not cover any materials or workmanship provided by anyone other than the authorized Precision Garage Door Service Franchisee issuing this warranty. This warranty does not cover consequential or incidental damages, such as damage or injury to a person or property because a garage door did not operate properly. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty does not cover problems caused by abuse, misuse, civil disturbance or Acts of God.
If you have a problem, contact the Precision Garage Door Service Franchisee that did the repair or installation work for you.
