Up salers. Had a Wayne dalton system. Got locked up on one side of the coils with a arm lock on the gear. Didn't want to risk it. So called for service. I explained it in person what i saw. No fix to bring the door down at all, Got charged. And got quotes for a full new system replacement at 1.4k and up. They told me they called mgr and no way to bring it down. They tried to pressure on saftey/kids on it being stuck open when i refused. I have none and work mids. Got service with others... quick push up, unlocked. Internal Cable was broken, retrofit for way less, in a less then a hr. With warranty.

Had the pleasure of meeting Josh Jackson who came to my residence to repair my garage door. Forgot the name of the springs on top but one of them was snapped in half and the belt leading to the motor was ripped. The bearings in the wheels along the rails were old and the garage door would sound like metal was scraping when it used to operate. Josh was understanding while I explained my concerns and frustration regarding my garage door being unsafe to operate . He was very professional, understanding and had an awesome sense of humor. He started working around 9am and was done by 12pm. Josh’s work was clean and fairly quick for the amount of work he had to do alone. Highly recommend to anyone who needs repairs/ replacements. Preciate the help boss !
