Mike did an outstanding job replacing and installing our new garage door opener. He arrived right on time and even sent a text to let us know he was on his way. Throughout the installation, he was incredibly patient and took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. The installation itself was great, and Mike was professional and personable the entire time. Really appreciated taking the time to clean up the workspace and remove the old hardware as well.

Buyer beware. I called Precision to replace the weather stripping on the bottom of my garage door. Once they arrived, they explained that my door didn’t have the correct guide for a standard weather strip, so they needed to install an aluminum base to complete the job. No issue there — just more expensive than I expected. Since they were already on site, I asked if they recommended any maintenance. The technician suggested replacing the roller wheels because they were old and noisy, and I agreed. The total cost came out to $1,200. Within 48 hours, my garage door started having trouble closing — something that had never happened before. I called Precision back, assuming it would be a simple adjustment. Instead, they told me the issue was likely with my garage door motor (which is less than two years old). I explained that I had never experienced any issues until after their service, but they insisted everything they replaced was “working properly” and that the closing problem wasn’t related to their work. If that’s true, then why did my garage door suddenly stop functioning right after they serviced it? Instead of standing behind their work, the technician told me to contact the motor manufacturer myself. I left this experience feeling frustrated, dismissed, and out more money than before. I would caution anyone considering Precision — they did not take accountability for a problem that clearly arose right after their service.

The company was quick on accommodating me the same day my garage door malfunctioned. Daniel was professional and fixed my door fast. The only comment I have is the total cost was somewhat pricey, and with a lifetime warranty plan I chose, all moving parts are covered except for the one hinge that's only covered for a month. I was also expecting when rollers were replaced with those with bearings that the door will be less noisy but it is not.

This the second time we have chose Precision Garage Door of San Diego! Our technician Eliseo was great,he was able to answer all questions. He was also super clean, Elise even cleaned the smudges off my door! Eliseo went above and beyond . Our door looks beautiful!

The young man said he fixed everything, put his tools in the truck and then the door DID NOT WORK. He then said the sensors needed replacing for an additional $100.00. He did get the door to work and I spoke to a supervisor and did not charge me the additional charge.

Service was provided just a week ago so it's too soon to tell if the work was performed to last. So far so good. The technician was friendly, polite and very knowledgeable. He explained everything very well. The service and equipment were expensive but I'm hoping the equipment and work performed will last a long time without issues. The technician was so competent that based just on that... I would recommend Precision Garage Door. By the way, service was by appointment and online, very convenient with many time slots available including weekends, and then, the technician was perfectly on time. That was great.

I don't know why you would call anyone else. Precision Garage Door always is on time and explains what the problem is and how to fix it. They never try to talk you into more expensive options but will present all options to you. I am extremely happy with the repairs they did today!

Today was my second time dealing with precision …as usual great service but I was especially delighted with today’s service because of the exceptional young man Rick Jasso… he was so knowledgeable and helpful… not to mention his great manners!!! Wow Precision… keep up the good work!
