Technician was efficient at his task and knew what the cause of the garage door to malfunction. He took time to ask questions and also assured me that it was not my fault. He assessed that the company who installed the garage door did not do so properly and that it should not have needed to be repaired for only being installed less than a year. I had waited over 4 months for my garage door and the one arrived wasn't the correct one. I had requested for the glass panels to be on the side of the door and not on top as I wanted the mid-century look, but the garage door came with the glass panels on the top. Another contractor offered the glass on the top at a much more economical price point than Precision but I really wanted the side one that is on the side hence why I chose you guys. The salesperson was friendly, and courteous throughout the whole process but this important note wasn't captured and I was told that I would have to wait another 3 months to get my door which I couldn't do as I didn't want to deal with the old manual garage door that has been there since the 70's and left my garage and my house no protection from the elements. Now I feel like I am stuck with a garage door that I didn't really want because I didn't want to wait another 3 months. This was the first thing that I ordered prior to renovating my home and I am disappointed that I did not get what I asked for. The salesperson was apologetic for overlooking this detail and offered a discount (waiting to receive it). I can see how this can be an honest mistake but I still have to live with a garage door for the next 10-15 years that wasn't what I ordered. I would have given you guys a 5++ star rating if I got what I asked for because the service prior to the door being installed was excellent, but the fact that the I got the wrong door is why the rating is low. I was expecting precision because the experience prior to the door being delivered was exceptional but the fact that I got the wrong door and I will be reminded that I got the wrong door everytime I see it is the main reason why I am giving a lower rating.
