David arrived this morning and diagnosed that my current problem with opening was electrical. He changed sensors, replaced opening switch on wall, and wiring for these items. He also suggested I make an upgrade to my primary electrical outlet to prevent electrical surges. David was very polite and answered all of my questions. Precision is a very professional and service oriented company, and I would recommend them to anyone seeking quality garage door system repair!

On 7/14 one of your technicians came to look at a broken garage door opener. I received 2 estimates for work - the tech said that the model I had was so old there were no longer parts, and quoted me 2 options at over $1200 and $1400 (job 42199014). That seemed very high for a small one car garage door so I did not have him perform the work. I investigated the costs a bit more, and I am really disappointed that he quoted me a very high end opener (when I wanted just a basic one) and was charging me 2X what I could find online for pricing. The quote did not contain separate costs for material and labor - however, I found a $325 retail price for the opener online, and the quote was for $899.95. Assuming that price included installation, I find it hard to believe $575 for labor. I called another company and they had parts for the opener I have and were able to replace it, make other minor repairs, for less than half of your estimate. I was not at the property, so the tech and I communicated over phone. I believe I was given incorrect information about my opener, in an attempt to take advantage and run up my bill - perhaps since I am a woman, people think I do not know much about repair, etc. If I had been given a fair quote and correct information, I would have no problem paying the $79.95 service call fee even though I decided to go with someone else. I would like you to waive the fee since I was not treated in good faith. Bridget Kimball

James was very helpful on the phone. He offered to come look at m garage first free of charge. When he came, he fixed the wheels in a matter of seconds while another technician wanted to charge me $200 for it. He was very upfront about what needs to be done, and worked very fast. I would recommend him to anyone in need of door garage service.

He explained everything to my satisfaction and had me sign each estimate along the way. I even upgraded the springs as more of a preventive maintenance thing. What awesome service we received today! I was truly impressed with everyone involved. Mark showed up and was truly a pleasure to work with. His upbeat personality and love of his job really showed. I was helping my elderly mother whose garage door was on its last leg. Mark worked his magic and was able to get her a quality door above what was expected and installed today. He ran into several road blocks but did not give up until he made it happen. I appreciate his tenacity and his professionalism. Everyone was great and we couldn’t be happier.
