I just had my garage motor replaced. First I just want to say from the start, Tim helped me on the phone schedule a same day appointment. I called at 5 am and they were already open. Tim was able to schedule me an appointment at 10 am the same day. Joshua Jackson was the technician that came by. He confirmed the appointment and got here exactly at the time he said would. He asked me questions about what I was needing and really listened. He showed me multiple options and I was able to decide on the best option for us. About an hour later he was done. He helped program my car, app and panel and he was off. Joshua was super professional and friendly and made the whole process seamless. I would highly recommend Joshua and Precision Garage Door of San Diego!

To begin with, the Service description above is incorrect. I called because I thought I had an electrical problem and could not open my garage door. I placed a call to your company because we had called for service 3-4 months ago and spent several hundred dollars for service. I was scheduled for the next day between 4 and 6 pm. On the day of the appointment I received a call by a technician at 10 am who said that he was a few blocks away and asked if he could stop by then. We allowed him to come to look at the door. Within minutes he arrived, then told us that the only way to get in to the garage was to break in, and he proceeded to do just that. In less than 10-15 minutes he was on his way, saying that he couldn't fix the door.... that it was an electrical problem. Well I had said that from the beginning. He not only charged me $89 for a service call (when he was less than a half mile from my house) but then charged me $150 dollars to open the door. This is outrageous since no one ever told me that your company would not work on the electrical problem THAT I REPORTED.) I should have been told up front that YOU couldn't fix the problem and that I needed an electrician. I will be happy to give you a rating on YELP! And correct the reason for the Service that appears above.

He was excellent. He arrived early He looked at what needed to be done, explained it clearly to me, then drew up a detailed “work order,” and as soon as I said “yes, he got to work. It took 2 or 3 hours, but he was very good, dedicated, and if I asked anything, he gave me a straight, clear answer. I very much appreciate what he did.

The technician was helpful, thorough and professional. He explained the issue with the opener and fixed it. Great experience. However I did not have the same experience when I called for service. The phone representative who took the call was rude. I asked for confirmation that there would not be a service fee and she was annoyed by the question because she said previously if it’s under warranty there is no fee. The problem is it was a family member helping me to request the service call and she was unaware whether or not the opener was under warranty. A little patience from the rep would have been appreciated
